Project description

41-storey tower on the site of Eileen House in Newington Causeway, Elephant & Castle includes 329 new homes as well as shops, offices and public realm in a scheme designed by local architects Allies and Morrison.

The project is distinguish by 490 Glass-BIPV modules on it’s roof. Average output from single module is 115W. So in total there are about 56.35 kWp installed on this power plant. Bespoke appearance was achieved by tailor made bus bars which were covered with black 3M tape and become virtually invisible on completely homogeneous black modules.
